Environmentally Friendly Advertising
More and more customers are turning to brown paper carry bags with twist or card handles as an environmentally friendly advertising medium. Using self adhesive labels and a colour printer, pages of labels with your business logo and advertising information can be printed in minutes.

Shipping labels are the best size to use, with a colour laser printer producing the most hard wearing results.

There are many advantages to custom printing your own bags in this way. For starters, most manufacturers have minimum order quantities with custom printing jobs, and there is the additional expense of creating the printing plates. When printing your own labels, you're able to print as many, or as few as you require. Additionally, you're able to be responsive to your market, and alter your graphics and advertising information in real time, without having to wait until your current batch of pre-printed bags has been exhausted.

On top of this, your bags are environmentally friendly - which is an issue that more and more of your customers are becoming interested in.

Finally, you can purchase your paper bags by the single carton - greatly reducing your up front costs for custom pre-printed packaging.

What can be recycled?
There are so many items that seem to be likely candidates for recycling - but so many items are not actually recyclable. For example, polystyrene, cookware, ceramics and plastic bags are non recyclable. Having noted this, our line of Degradable Plastic Bags is an excellent environmentally friendly alternative to plastic shopping bags.

Recyclable packaging supplies include clean aluminium foil and pie trays, ice cream and takaway plastic containers, cardboard cereal and food boxes and more.

Now for an interesting twist. It seems that a ceramic cup is a greedy vessel when it comes to energy and water consumption, and not much better as a contributor to air pollution and solid waste.

With energy you'd have to use the ceramic cup 640 times before it would equal a polystyrene cup, and 294 times to equal a paper/cardboard one. With air pollution it takes 1,800 uses to beat the polystyrene cup, and 48 to beat the paper/cardboard. Likewise, you would have to drink 126 and 99 cups respectively for the ceramic to compete with polystyrene and paper/cardboard on the waste issue. And water? Sorry, just the use of a ceramic cup totals more than the entire life cycle water consumption of the other two.
